Q: How do I know if I need to have my ducts cleaned or not?

A: If you notice:

1)Your filters in your furnace are quite dirty every time you change them.

2)If you take a cold air register off the wall or floor and it looks quite dirty

3)If your last duct cleaning is over 5 years ago.

4)If you have had renovations done in your home since your last duct cleaning.

Q: What kind of time frame am I looking at once I schedule an appointment?

A: If you call today, you can usually be booked within the same week.

Q: What can I do to help keep my ducts cleaner after I have has them cleaned out?

A: Dust and debris will always be brought into your ductwork through the cold air returns. Make sure to always have a quality air filter in your furnace and change or wash it regularly. This will reduce the amount of dust being circulated throughout the duct work.

Q: What advantage is it to me to have my ducts cleaned out?

A: Cleaning of duct work will remove the dust and debris from within your system, as well reduce the airborne allergens that you will breath while in your home. It will also keep your furnace system working more efficiently.

Sanitizing your system after the cleaning will help to kill bacteria such as mould and mildew spores.

Dirty Air Conditioning coils can reduce the amount of air returning to your home and keep your furnace running longer to get to it’s desired temperature. This will cost more to heat and cool your home.

Dirty fan blades take more effort from your motor to turn, causing them to occasionally breakdown. This will cost you more to replace and repair over time.
